Yes Mick they are following me around. I currently have 12DM78 (a ballast) and the recently arrived 12DM61. A while ago I did 12DM85 which is currently gracing the Defence School of Transport. When I left the Army in 2010 I decided to set up a vehicle restoration company which is still going strong and for some reason I seem to be the restorer of choice for Antars! I also have a Dyson trailer to do (and a second one on the Isle of Wight with all its brakes locked on) so plenty to keep me busy.
Aye up Mick, I remember the trip, we took a mini bus from Buller Bks,I'm sure Pete Howe and Mo Walker came with us with Phil playing the guitar, as far as I remember Mick it was Allan Knots farewell , Paul (Grandad) Moreton would know. I hope all is well with you, I heard that Mojo Janusz passed away a few weeks ago but I not seen any thing on this site??
Apologies for delay in reply, very busy week. Book is full and working through the text and picture layouts now, checking, checking and even more checking! We are getting there , hopefully more news quite soon.
Thanks Mick I am well and retired last April. Sorry about yr leg and hope the 6 to 8 Weeks pass quickly. If the disbandment is in the new year then Sqirrel and i will be there. Hi again, that was along time ago. Me and thee in the same truck.Do you remember the Hamburg weekend. I´m still living in Hamm. Have been since 1980. I´m still working for the Army. I´ve got another 5 years to go then I retire.
Thanks for getting back to me. Magazines, I think about 3 or 4, I noticed 2 already posted on here and I have a copy of another not yet on here I will see if I can get to scan in and post... One of the things I am working on is if you remember I had the task of doing ID photos whilst in Belfast, well I came across the negatives and am slowly managing to scan them into the PC. I think they would make great profile photos for here on the forum as the way guys looked then was more how we remember them if you know what I mean. Let me see what I can dig up. Catch you later.
Hi Mick, Great to see you here.... Looks like you need a few photos.. Just posted one of you in NI 1980 ish supporting a page 3 female I seem to remember...
