Hello Barney,Hope all is well with you and your family. The comment you made about Harry Hancock (Harry Mitt) yes, that incident happened in Senne (mid-sixties),do you have any info on him.Alot of your Photos bring back good memories as i know a lot of the faces from the past.Woody,Brian Robinson(Robbo),Nobby Clark, and myself ended up playing Sunday League Football here in Birmingham, 1973-1976. All the best, Norman.
The sign to Barn Bow off the Ring Road - dunno where it went, Honest! I think it disappeared as soon as they mothballed the factory, along with the Chieftain tank gate guard which was sold for £1!! The Antar kit is from a company called Accurate Armour - £180 for the tractor, £105 for the 50 tonne Trailer or £120 for the 60 tonner. Worth every penny.
Re John Potts,
Hiya Dave, hope all is well with you. I last saw John in the mid 80s on a couple of North Sea Ferry crossings. He was continental trucking then, and we had a good old natter, as well as a few beers.
Then, Harry Harrison, who, I think, had been John's best man, and I, tracked John down to an address in the Hull area. Harry wrote to John, to see if he was going to the 1993 reunion, which was held in Sheffield, John's home town, but never got a reply from John.
Harry tried to get in touch a few more times, but never heard a word from John, and neither of us have seen him since.
