I'm sure the SSM is Alan Knot, as some have said. Did he not come back as RSM?

middle row :parker,askin,collins,baker,codnor,cutts,westen,cracknell,molyneux,freestone,brogen,letori.
front row: sgt bant,sgt mc caffer,wo2 everton,maj grevatte ball, wo2 knot,sgt morton,sgt andrews,cpl morris.
it was the jmqc from jan 12 -6 feb 1981 and i remember it was very cold

I was on this jmqc,looking at the picture im back left at the very end i was known as crow at the time.I remember it was bloody cold doing the excercise on soltau-lunerburgh heath.Ill give you some of the names,para freestone,jim curran,andy codner,andy powazynski,At the front i recognise paul moreton,wo2 knott,phil morris,sgt mcaffer.I have got the photograph somewhere with all the names on it,if i find it i can give you all of them.See ya mate.

Kez,guy in front row with shades looks like Paul(youth)Moreton.Second segeant front row looks like mac Macaffer.Second from right front row looks like geordie Price.Jim your right,Mick Everton it is.

Front row: 1st Sgt is Tom Bant, (Steve is correct, it is Alan Knott), the other with the stick looks like Mick Everton. Middle row, second from 12DM14 is John (Toastie) Brogan, 5th person same row looks like Steve Randsley, the black lad looks loke Andy Conner (RIP), end guy looks like Hazel Hazeltine and that's my limit Kerry, hope all is well..
