Hi Norman, My dad was from Castleford. We went to Sennelager from Gainsborough in 65, after that went on to Bielefeld for 2 years. Dad did his last tour at Buller Barracks leaving in 72. Was always called Jim, sadly passed away last year.
Sorry about the delay in replying Norman just done 84hrs over the last week, shift work is killing me I will have to pack it in.Yep we had a good run home thanks, hope yours was as easy. Sue and I always enjoy the weekend, meeting long lost friends and remembering our youth makes us feel good. Hi Norman sorry not to get back straight away but its been a bit of a mad house here!I was with the wksps and had the Leyland recovery truck due to old age and meds I am on my memory for names is useless,reading some names on these pages is getting some dust moving on the cogs.I escorted the advance party to Bulford in the Leyland then due to a cock up I escorted the rear party down...........Sorry again Dave P
