Hello Bob, im a bit preoccupied with finding my next posting after Senne. 6 coy rasc gw Bangor bks wuppertal. It seems to have dissapeared from all records All I can find is the 6x6 militant 10 ton semi trailer tractor, absolutly nothing about the trailer and missile tubes. I have several photos and a model of the unit, see if you can come up with anything if you have the time. Speak to you again mate, Mick.

Hi Bob thanks for reply and welcome. You are right. At that time I was a Cpl Clerk at HQ RASC sometimes called CRASC. The HQ was located on the 1st floor (Ben had the Bedding Store on the Ground Floor adjacent to the Armoury). From memory this was about 2 doors away from 123 Coy Orderly Room in which Sgt Smith was Chief Clerk.

At that time Norman had been posted to HQ RASC as NCO i/c staff transport. He was married to Pat and lived in MQs near the Bks.

Hi Bob, I was at Ranby in 1956/7 in C platoon, when I was first there I was with a scotish driver called Pete Kelly and when his truck blew a clutch I was transferred to another truck with a driver called cpl Gordie Prentice and I left the service in Oct 1957    John  (Keith )

Hello Bob.   Would not have been able to put a name to your photo and there are others the same. I will have to get my thinking cap on.  There is a shortage of B plt photos as they seem to be A and C plt. Cheers for now David.
