Sad to hear of the passing of Scud and Alan. I did my first "Castlemartin" as No3 to Alan and Brian Briscoe, otherwise known as "Big Hallsy and the Briscoe Kid". It's an oft used phrase, but Alan was "one of the best".See More
Good to hear from you, book is full. Have sent you a pm which details the situation more accurately.
Just in case someone reads your earlier post about Waterstones or Amazon stocking it, it is because as soon as you apply for an ISBN number which every book has to have, somehow the 'big boys" pick it up and start advertising it, without any reference to us!
Hi John, hope you and yours are all well. Have just today, posted another 40+ photos on the site. Haven't had time to add names as yet but will do in the next few days. If you get ten minutes to spare, have a look because there are several of your old mate "Whistling Jack Atherton" I have told Jack that he looks like a SAGa holiday rep on the ones outside the bar! Regardes, Bob Allen.
Hi John, I was in Ctp 19 Sqn 71-75. As for Alfie he had a fall the week before the reunion. He suffered a fractured skull with a bleed on the brain. He also had a breathing tube put in his throat. They put him in an induced coma because of the bleed. He opened his eyes from the coma a couple of weeks ago and they took the tube out last Thursday. They will be putting him into a general ward in the next couple of day's. He still has a way to go but improves daily. Regards Brian.

I approve each member to the site, most times I get it right but the odd one slips through the net, if you feel that your application…
