John Mcallister was one of the best blokes I ever knew,  always had a smile to fix any problem, my condolences to his family, he was a very popular bloke....

Sorry to hear of John Macs passing, I knew him in 19sqn and at 30 fld amb in Senne in the 70's, a great bloke and he will be sadly missed, RIP John.........

I am very saddend to hear of the passing of John. We all called him dad or father as he treated us like his own. I knew John fron 16sqn in Fallingbostel where he was my troop Ssgt. He was one of the nicest decent blokes i knew. My condolences to the family. Rest in peace Big John.

Sad to hear of "Macs" passing. I knew him at 19Sqn in the late 60s early 70s. One of the nicest blokes you could wish to meet!

There is a fellow Glaswegien unmentioned here,  Miggo McLaughlin, great biker too, former A troop 3 Sqn, 80 - 83, died at a very young age also unsure when but it was soon after he left the Army. He had a heart attack whilst driving his tanker, old skills, felt the pains in his chest, pulled over on the motorway's hard shoulder, brakes on, Died.. RIP Pal

I never realised this page existed, and I would like to place a over belated entry into this prestigious wall on the passing of my dearest Pal, Matthew Smyth Manily Barnes (Barney) who died tragically on drag with me on 21st April 1981.

Gone, never forgotten Pal.

Just picked up on the sad notice of Bob`s passing, a proper decent guy  and helpful to all around him.

I am stunned to hear of the passing of Bob Royce, we knew each other all through our Army days and Bob was best man at my wedding. My deepest condolences to Diane and Kevin, does any one have any contact details for Diane.

Steven sorry to hear about your dad myself and Maureen were friend with your mum dad you and Sylvia when you lived in Loseke strasse lots of good times and have some great memories.

So sad to hear  of the passing away of Keith . I served with him at Senne , as I remember , both Keith and I downed a few 'Sherbs' more than once . May you Rest in Peace Keith .
